A big thank you

This post is dedicated to all those brave souls who waded through the mud and rain to come and say hello to me at Childwickbury Art Fair at the weekend. My feet may have been cold and wet, and my car may have been stuck in a field, but this didn’t dampen my spirits thanks to all those friendly people who spoke to me and were keen to learn more about my work.

I spent the weekend making some of my pierced clay lanterns, which you can see below. I was surprised how much work I managed to get done actually, but it just goes to show that with a little bit of encouragement and some friendly people interested in what you are doing, creativity can flourish…even though there may be an encroaching monsoon outside the tent!
